- Download it. In IdentityIQ, open your three bureau credit report. On a computer, save the page (File, then Save Page As) or download it as a PDF. On a phone, tap Download or Share, then Save to Files. Then tap Choose file below and pick it.
- Drop it here. Fill in your details below the way they appear on your credit report, choose your report file, then tap Build my kit.
We use your report only to build your kit. We never sell it.

Each letter has a blank line for your date of birth and your Social Security number. Type both on the Kit page to print them on your letters (they never leave your phone or computer), or write them in with a pen after you print.

Print your letters
Print every envelope on plain white paper, one side only. The Print my letters button on the Kit page fills in your numbers. Download my kit gives you these PDFs, with blank lines.

Sign every letter in ink on the line above your printed name.

Copy your ID and a bill with your address
For each credit bureau envelope (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) add one copy of your driver license or state ID and one copy of a recent bill or statement that shows your name at your current address. If a bureau has more than one envelope, each envelope gets its own copies. Envelopes to collection companies get no ID copy. Each envelope's sheet count already includes these two copies.

Stuff each envelope
Keep each envelope's pages together in one envelope, in the order printed. Never mix pages between envelopes.

Stamps
Every envelope fits a regular letter envelope. 1 to 4 sheets: one stamp. 5 or 6 sheets: two stamps.

Mail them all the same day
Mail every envelope on the same day. Then enter the date you mailed on the Kit page. The kit allows 5 days for delivery and then counts the 30 days the bureaus have to answer, or 45 if you sent them new information.
Check off each envelope as you mail it.

Watch your mail
Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery, free at informeddelivery.usps.com. Each morning it emails you a picture of the mail coming that day. When a bureau or collection company writes back, open it that day and get on it.
The credit bureaus usually write back by mail within 35 to 40 days.
Keep any letters the bureaus send you. You may want them later.
Watch your mailbox. Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery, free at informeddelivery.usps.com. Every morning it emails you a picture of the letters coming that day, so you know when a bureau has written back. Open it the day it arrives and get on it. Do not put it off.
The credit bureaus usually write back by mail within 35 to 40 days.
